THE RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD COVER:

  • Authorizing & approving technical/Engineering design documents & drawings
  • Overseeing and delegating engineering team for performing the project engineering work depending on the complexities of the project and provide Leadership and guidance during Engineering execution of projects.
  • Formulate Engineering Procedures & specifications well suited for business model of the company.
  • Coordinate with Operations team to understand requirements related with facilities and convert them to project design that ensures safe & efficient operations.
  • Provide inputs to finalize yearly work programs and budgets associated with them.
  • Monitor & drive Engineering team to ensure timely completion of work as per scheduled timelines associated for the project.
  • Responsible for ensuring field Engineering activities are performed as per the defined quality standards by field team & track changes for future traceability of design documents.
  • Developing field facilities as per high quality standards with optimizing cost, time & resources

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified Engineer with specialization in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with at least 20 years of experience in upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Previous work experience in similar position for at least 5 years within the multicultural and diverse work environment.
  • Flexibility to travel to Iraq for field visit is essential
  • Should have strong Technical & Leadership skills for Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • High level Team player with excellent Communication, problem Solving, Budgeting and Planning skills is required.
